Dear attendees,

It is about a month left before the first Baltic Perl Workshop. It is to happen on 21st of November this year. This letter is intended to tell you that there are no changes :-) The venue is ready and the weather has been requested.

If you are going to stay in Konventa hotel (where we've got the venue), make sure you ask for a discount when booking the room. The hotel has offered a special price of 50 EUR per night for those who attend the workshop.

If you are not the speaker yet, please consider the possibility to submit a talk proposal at event.perl.lv/baltic2009/newtalk. It will give the opportunity for hundreds of people to see your talk later on yapc.tv.

The venue is located in the Old City (called "Vecriga" in Latvian). To get there from the airport you can buy a taxi voucher of fixed price 9 Lats (LVL) at green desk near the exit of the airport. Note that if you travel with AirBaltic, you may buy these vouchers (as many as you need) during the flight with lower price of 8 LVL. 1 LVL is approx. 1.4 EUR. The voucher is valid for traveling within Riga including the airport.

If you have any questions or proposals please contact me. There will also work the phone +372 59-93-53-57 closer to the dates of the event.

See you at the workshop, and do ask your friends to come.
